First Grade Won 6 - 4
Cronulla completed the second win over the Manly side on Saturday night at Tom Evans eventually running out winners by 6 runs to 4.
Cronulla opened the account in the bottom of the first plating three runs before Manly pulled two runs back in the top of the 3rd. Alex Howe steeped into the box in the bottom with Blake Cavill on base and smashed a hit deep over the centre field fence for a two run homer. Local spectators could not remember when the last home run was hit with a wooden bat if at all. Bouncing out to the 5-2 lead we slipped back a bit and allowed Manly another run. We scored another after a triple to Jackson Mannix was then moved home on a Gavin Fingelson single. Manly scored a run late, but with Darcy Edwards on the mound we completed the 6 - 4 win.
